A new prosthetic immediate large volume breast reconstruction: A TITANIZED POPLYPROPYLENE MESH (TILOOP BRA)

Breast reconstruction has become a standard of care for almost all women required mastectomy for breast cancer, a prcocedure wich actually represent a 30% of surgical indication. The titanized mesh allowing an immediate prosthetic reconstruction even in the larger breast volume.

Through tissue integration the titanium meshes can develop a "neofascia" in the breast, in addition,it shows a very low capsular fibrosis rate, which was not to be expected due to the radiotherapy. A capsular fibrosis rate of 4.3% corresponds to the value of patients who have not undergone radiotherapy over a period of 10 years.
